British Aviation Authority Restricts Airspace During Queen’s Funeral
LONDON, Sept 13 (Reuters) — Britain’s Civil Aviation Authority said on Tuesday that it has introduced airspace restrictions covering Queen Elizabeth’s funeral as part of the overall security arrangements. CAA said it has published two restrictions so far, with an additional central London and Windsor restriction set to be issued in due course.

US aviation authority launching investigation into Jeff Bezos’s uncrewed rocket explosion
The US Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) will be launching an investigation into Blue Origin’s uncrewed launch that erupted into a fireball during flight. While no injuries have been reported from the launch on Monday, the aviation authority will need to sign off before the Jeff Bezos company’s New Shepard rocket can return to flight.

NCWV Aviation Community To Host Its First-Ever ‘Girls in Aviation Day’
Sep. 13 — BRIDGEPORT — Companies and educators from across North Central West Virginia’s $1.1 billion aviation sector will come together Sept. 24 to host “Girls in Aviation Day.” The event takes place at the Pierpont Community & Technical College’s National Aerospace Education Center, at 1050 East Benedum Industrial Dr. in Bridgeport from 10 a.n. to 2 p.m.

Carolinas Aviation Museum holding groundbreaking for new facility
CHARLOTTE, N.C. (WBTV) — The former Carolinas Aviation Museum will hold a groundbreaking ceremony for its new 105,000-square-foot facility adjacent to Charlotte Douglas International Airport on Sept. 27. City, county and state officials are expected to be on hand as plans are revealed for the new museum, intended to be a high-profile cultural tourism attraction and educational resource that will boost economic opportunity, especially on Charlotte’s disadvantaged west side.
